IMAP Mail for Windows Mobile Standard devices
I was surprised when trying to set up an Gmail IMAP account on my friends device to be reminded that Windows Mobile Standard devices don't support IMAP email. Many people use Gmail and using a client on a Windows Mobile device is much better than webmail so this is definitely a needed feature.

@Andrew ... but if no-one from MS ever looks here what's the value?
I think the UI here is orders of magnitude better, but I'd hate to have folks shouting in the wilderness when the WM team are looking/listening somewhere else

@Jason - Thanks for that note. Weird. Will check it out on my friends device. Maybe my mistake.
@Offbeatmammal - Thanks for that link. It's useful, although I prefer the Uservoice interface and usability.

Check out the MS Connect Site at https://connect.microsoft.com/site/sitehome.aspx?SiteID=502 to provide this feedback - the Windows Mobile team will be able to track it there, and it should get a wider audience.

+1 ... works on my WM6.0 T-Mobile Shadow. You can't use the automatically detect settings so you have to fool the phone into letting you enter the details manually but it works just fine.

Andrew - I can create an IMAP account on my Windows Mobile Standard Dash...I just created a new account to confirm that. I've never heard of an OEM taking that feature our - you've seen that obviously?

That only works for Windows Mobile 6 Professional devices (i.e. phones with a touch screen). Windows Mobile Standard devices (i.e. phones without a touch screen) don't have the IMAP option.
